Awfully Alliterating
Inside Igloos
Frozen arctic hearts
Caged in cold shells
Imitating elegiac eskimos
Incarcerated inside
Icy igloos idling while
Introspecting intensely
Inexplicable ideas about
Incinerating emotions
Inducing illusions
Of warmth in winter
An ephemeral escape
From a chronic climate
This numbing chill
Accepting agony until
The season’s change
Wondering if it will.
